Admission Requirements

Requirements for admission to bachelor and master programs at Stamford University vary with the discipline the applicants choose. Requirements for admission into different programs are given below:

For Bachelor Programs

For All Science and Engineering Related Bachelor Programs:

Minimum GPA 2.50 in both S.S.C and H.S.C with science background or equivalent
Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and minimum grade of C in 3 subjects from science group.

For All Arts, Law, Social Science and Business Related Bachelor Programs:

Minimum GPA 2.50 in both S.S.C and H.S.C or equivalent
Minimum 5 subjects in O-Level and 2 subjects in A-Level with minimum grade of B in 4 subjects and minimum grade of C in 3 subjects.

For Master Programs

Students who wish to get themselves admitted at Stamford's master programs should have at least 6 points without any 3rd class or 7 points with a third class at graduation level to be computed as follows:

S. in Economics (Preliminary & Final), Master in Public Administration, and Master of Arts in Theatre Studies (Preliminary & Final): Graduates (B. A./ B. Sc./ B. Com./ B. S. S. or equivalent)/Masters from any discipline
2.  Master of Arts in English (Final) B. A (Hons) in English / 4 year B. A. in English
3. M. Sc in Computer Science & Engineering  B. Sc in Computer Science & Engineering or other related graduates
4. Master in Microbiology  B. Sc. (Hons.) in Microbiology, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Botany, Medical Technology, MBBS & other related degrees
5. Master of Pharmacy 4 years B. Pharm. (Hons.)
6. M. Sc. in Environmental Science 4 year Bachelor/Honors degree or equivalent in environmental science or related subjects/Master in other disciplines
7. Master of Laws (LL. M., Final) 4 years Bachelor of Laws from any recognized university
8. Master of Laws (LL. M., Preliminary & Final) 2 years Bachelor of Laws from any recognized university
9. M. S. S. in Journalism & Media Studies (Final)  4 years Bachelor Degree in Journalism from any recognized university
10. M. S. S. in Economics (Final) 4 years Bachelor Degree in Economics from any recognized university
