Md. Gulam Sharoar Hossain Khan

Md. Gulam Sharoar Hossain Khan joined Stamford University Bangladesh in 2007 as a Lecturer. He became an Assistant Professor in 2010. Before joining Stamford University, he was started his teaching career as a Lecturer at Millennium University. In addition to the teaching responsibilities, he was an assistant proctor of SUB from 2009 to 2013. Moreover, he is involved in different academic committees like exam monitoring committee, question moderation committee, professional orientation committee etc. and he supervised number of graduate and postgraduate students in completing their thesis and internship. Mr. Khan was an associate member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountant in Bangladesh (ICMAB) since 2010. Now he is a fellow member of this institute.  He was a visiting faculty of different professional institutions like ICMAB, ICSB etc. He is also an active member of research and publication committee at ICMAB. As a professional accountant he was an audit advisor of different chartered accountant firms in Bangladesh. Mr. Khan is also a currently active member of AFAANZ (Association of Finance &Accounting of Australia and New Zealand). 

Moreover, Mr. Khan is a PhD candidate at Faculty of Business and Accountancy, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and now his thesis is under review. His main research area is Auditing. He has published number of research articles in reputed Journals. He is also specialist for different accounting software like Tally-ERP, SAP and different statistical software like Smart-PLS and SPSS. Before engaged his professional education, he was complicated his BBA and MBA from faculty of Business Studies, Department of Accounting & Information System, University of Dhaka. Md. Khan has been teaching in a range of both financial accounting and managerial accounting.
