Md. Rabiul Kabir is an Associate Professor & Head of Marketing Discipline in the Department of business administration at the Stamford University Bangladesh where he has been a faculty member since 2005. Mr. Kabir obtained his BBA & MBA degree from Abertay University (United Kingdom), specializing in Marketing. His specialized teaching areas are: Marketing Research, Statistics, and Research Methods. Apart from teaching, he served various administrative positions within the university. He worked as a member of SAC (Self-Assessment Committee), under HEQEP (Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project), initiated by University Grand Commission (UGC). He has successful organized various Seminar, Panel Discussions, and Workshops relating to Marketing & general business topics.
Mr. Kabir has published numerous research papers in business Journals and conference proceedings. His research interests lie in the area of Service Quality, Brand Equity, Strategic Marketing, Social Media etc. He has also collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of educational research, particularly in the area of Quality Assurance in Higher Education, University Social Responsibility and University Strategic Planning. He has excellent skills in using SPSSand others statistical software for descriptive analysis, Cross Tabulation, Z & t test, Chi Square Test, One-way & Two-way ANOVA, Correlation & Regression; Factor Analysis & Discriminant analysis and Structure equation modelling.
Having an excellent background in teaching, Mr. Kabir also worked as a Business Development Consultant for leading ICT (information & Communication Technology) companies in Bangladesh. As a consultant, he has successfully handled a good number of ICT projects in NGO, donor agencies and government organizations.
Mr. Kabir has participated various short Professional training in USA, UK, Mexico, and Singapore. He lived UK for six years and also travelled USA, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore and India, which gave him an insight into different culture.
