Samina Huq is presently serving as an Assistant Professor of Stamford University Bangladesh of Department of Business Administration. She always wanted to be a teacher and planned her passion on teaching to be more efficient and interactive with deeper professional knowledge as well as valuable practical experiences to provide the best picture of the business arena to her students. Therefore, to acquire hands-on experience, she worked as a ‘Product Officer’ in a leading . There, besides all responsibilities, She joined CARE Bangladesh as ‘Project Development Officer’ and engaged in development of agricultural marketing strategies. At this juncture Ms Huq proposed a new concept on village women empowerment, namely, ‘Women Marketing Corner’. The impressed project management of CARE Bangladesh gave her an opportunity to participate in training programme- ‘NGOs and Agricultural Marketing: Principles, interventions and tools’ organized and delivered by Natural Resources Institute,University of Greenwich, United Kingdom on behalf of CARE.Presently. Besides her present responsibilities as a teacher ,she is also working as the convenor of ‘Stamford Business Forum’. And her previous business net working with national and multinational corporates helps the students to get engaged with real life business field in the form of industry visit , attending business seminar etc.Furthermre, she conducted research programmes under ICT; an organization under WHO as ‘National consultant Sector Strategy Support Coordinator’. a Project of the Government of Bangladesh Financed by the European Commission, the Government of Norway and the International Trade Centre.She also worked as international consultant with the position of ‘Strategy Team Coordinator. under the same ,Project of the Government of Bangladesh Financed by the European Commission, The Government of Norway and the International Trade Centre .She actively worked under a project titled ‘Image Of The Crop Protection Industry And That Of Novartis As A Crop Protection Organization In The Media’.
