Anika Nowshin Mowrin is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Stamford University Bangladesh. She joined as Assistant Professor in the Department on November 2018. She is also working as a coordinator of Examination Committee and an active member of Project and Thesis Committee.
She has completed her B.Sc in Civil Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) in June 2013 and her M.Sc in Civil and Transportation Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in April 2018. During her masters she was involved in some research works on Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System. Her masters research was focused on the service quality assessment of commuter train using ANFIS and PNN models. During her job in Stamford University Bangladesh she has also published some international peer reviewed journal papers and also attended some national conferences. She is pursuing PhD in transportation engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
She prefers to take courses on Transportation Engineering. She is also supervising some undergraduate theses as a supervisor. Her research interest is on Transportation Planning and management, Pavement design, Road safety management and measures, Traffic volume analysis and signal design, Analysis of traffic flow characteristics, Traffic control.
