Department of Civil Engineering

Farhana Chowdhury is working as an Acting Chairman & Associate prof. at the Department of Civil Engineering of Stamford University Bangladesh. She joined the Department of Civil Engineering as Lecturer in October, 2004. She is currently working as a Co-ordinator of Examination Committee of the department and worked successfully as a coordinator of the academic committee, departmental management committee, routine committee, and course offering committee.

Miss Farhana completed her B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Major: Environmental Engineering, Minor: Structural Engineering) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in November, 2004. She completed her M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Environmental Engineering) from BUET in 2014 and stated her PhD in the same university which is ongoing. She also has a couple of journal publications in national and international peer reviewed journals.

Undergraduate Thesis:

“Analysis of micro-biological quality of water supplied by DWASA in MODs zone three of Dhaka City Corporation” supervised by Prof. Dr. M. Feroze Ahmed, Buet.

M.Sc Thesis:
