Tabassum Islam Anika is working as a Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering of Stamford University Bangladesh since March 2022. Addition to her teaching responsibilities, she actively contributes to the university through her participation in various committees. These include serving as the coordinator for the Registration Committee and as a member of the Examination Committee and the Offering Committee.
Ms Anika basically developed her academic and research career on Structural Engineering. She is pursuing her M.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Earlier, she completed her B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (Major: Structural Engineering, Minor: Transportation Engineering) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in February, 2021. Her undergraduate thesis focused to assess the seismic performance of steel concrete composite structures, steel structures, and reinforced concrete structure in the context of Bangladesh by performing the static nonlinear pushover analysis using Finite element based software ETABS. Additionally, she published at an international conference.
