Currently, Mohammad Fakhrul Islam is pursuing a PhD in the School of Economic & Regional Sciences at the Hungarian University of Agriculture & Life Sciences (MATE), Gödöll?, Hungary, with a fully funded Hungarian government scholarship. Simultaneously, he is working as an adjunct faculty member at the Department of Agricultural Management and Leadership Sciences, Hungarian University of Agriculture & Life Sciences (MATE), Gödöll?, Hungary, under a fixed-term contract. He is also contributing as a visiting Research Fellow at the Faculty of Economics, SzéchenyiIstván University, Gy?r, Hungary.
In Bangladesh, apart from serving Stamford University Bangladesh as an Assistant Professor (currently on study leave) in the Department of Business Administration, he is also a visiting faculty and researcher at Daffodil International University (DIU) and the International University of Business Agriculture & Technology (IUBAT), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He started his career as a lecturer in the management department at the Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT), Dhaka, Bangladesh.
In addition, Mr. Islam is the founder and managing two research consultancy organizations—Bangladesh Academy for Research and Development, and ResearchCraft Research and Development. He has been teaching in higher education for more than twelve years, primarily focusing on management and HR-related courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
He has a number of international refereed articles, book chapters, conference papers, and many other scholarly contributions to his name in prestigious journals (Indexed in ABS/ABDC/Scopus/WoS). Heis actively contributing as a reviewer for reputed top-ranked journals from publishing houses such as Sage, Springer, Emerald, Elsevier, and BMC. Currently, he is responsible for editorial positions of several journals and is a reviewer for the thesis board of different universities.
Hecompleted his BBA (Bachelor) and MBA (Master) in Management, along with a couple of professional diplomas in specialized fields. Hehas extensive experience in voluntary community service from student life through professional life and has demonstrated strong leadership qualities. Notably, Mr. Islam is experienced in guiding students in co-curricular and career development activities. He has been a professional public speaker and has given a lot of training for many years. He has also been actively engaged with leading professional bodies in education, research, training, human rights and human resources.
