Project 1: FPGA Based Single Phase Active PFC Boost Converter” |
March ,2023 |
Duringthis work I had designed a controller circuit that has employed Hysteresis Control technique. It is designed to fulfil the international energy standards on input current harmonic distortion by reducing total harmonic distortion (THD) and improving the power factor of power supplies. Then I have simulated it in MATLAB/Simulink am going to build a prototype using FPGA. |
Project 2: Building Integrated Photovoltaic System (BIPV) |
January -June ,2022 |
Project leader to combat the dependency on grid supply which depends mostly on fossil fuel, we analyzed the technical, economic, environmental feasibility and design a BIPV for the academic buildings of Stamford University Bangladesh. First, we conducted a detailed survey to collect load data and segregated the loads according to time frame and priority. We analyzed the solar radiation data for our intended project location using Meteonorm7.1 |
The design was simulated using Helioscope. We also forecast the average expected return of investment of approximately 460% in 25 years. |
Project 3: DC Paddy Reaper. |
July-December,2021 |
Lead this project of the hardware implementation of low cost, easy maintenance DC paddy reaper to mitigate the acute labor storage for harvesting. We had designed this project using the types of equipment that are locally procurable at a low cost. The battery can be recharged both for grid line and from a solar system which makes the reaper useable in remote area of Bangladesh where grid line is not available. Our machine is tested under different conditions like different types of land, weather. The harvesting cost is 85% less than manual harvesting. The total cost of our prototype is 230 USD which will be reduced in mass production. |

Convener Departmental Exam. Monitoring Committee (Last 8 years) Key responsibilities:
The departmental representative of Institutional Quality Assess Cell (IQAC) of Stamford University Member departmental Self-Assessment Committee (SAC) Under the project titled ‘’ Higher Education Quality Assessment Project” of the ministry of education funded by the World Bank, we, SAC conducted a detailed survey among five different stakeholders (academic staff, non-academic staff, current students, alumni, and employers) and prepared a Self-Assessment Report (SAR). The department had been peer-reviewed by three experts (two local one foreigner) and we secured marks as VERY GOOD. |
