Sheikh Nahid Neazy is, currently, an associate professor in the Department of English at Stamford University Bangladesh. He has been teaching English at tertiary level for more than 20 years. He graduated in English from Jahangirnagar University and did his MA in English from the same institution. Later, he completed Business English Certificate courses – BEC Preliminary and BEC Vantage. He taught a course “English Language & Literature” in the Department of History, Dhaka University, back in 2009. He also worked as a translator for the Asiatic Society of Bangladesh. Besides teaching, he writes articles/columns on contemporary issues for both Bangla and English dailies. He contributes to Times Higher Education (THE), a prestigious British magazine on higher education. He co-authored an essay for a monograph titled Multicultural and Marginalized Voices of Postcolonial Literature published by Lexington Books, USA, in 2017.
