Dr. Most. Nazma Parvin is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at Stamford University Bangladesh. She joined the department as a Lecturer in August 2007. Prior to her academic career, she worked at Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd. as a Quality Control Officer in the Quality Assurance Department for approximately one and a half years.
At present, Dr. Parvin serves as the Coordinator of the Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) Program in the Department of Pharmacy. In this role, she actively facilitates recommendation and academic support services for B. Pharm. (Honours) and M. Pharm. students seeking admission to reputed national and international universities for higher studies. She also coordinates industrial training programs for final-semester students in collaboration with renowned pharmaceutical companies.
In addition to her academic responsibilities, Dr. Parvin serves as an Associate Editor of the Stamford Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SJPS). She is actively involved in several academic and administrative committees of the Department of Pharmacy, including the thesis and project distribution and evaluation committee, viva committee, admission committee, question moderation committee, class routine committee, laboratory committee and departmental disciplinary committee. She also serves as a member of the examination committee and course distribution committee. Under her direct supervision, a significant number of undergraduate students have successfully completed their research projects (B. Pharm.) and M. Pharm. theses.
Dr. Parvin awarded her PhD in 2020 from the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka. She completed her Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology from the same institution in 2004 and Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Dhaka in 2003.
She is an A-grade registered pharmacist under the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council, with Registration No. A-2751.
Dr. Parvin has authored two books and published 35 research articles in various national and international peer-reviewed journals.
