Faculty Profile
Rehana Fowzia joined Stamford University Bangladesh in 16th March, 2006 as a Lecturer. She was promoted as Assistant Professor in 30th May, 2009. And in 12th February, 2019, she was promoted as an Associate Professor in Department of Business Administration.
She is now pursuing her PhD on Accounting Education in the Department of Accounting & Information Systems of University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Rehana Fowzia has been teaching mainly accounting courses in both BBA program and MBA Program. Courses of BBA program are: Financial Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing, Business Taxation, Accounting and Information Systems, Advanced Cost Accounting, Accounting Theory, Strategic Management Accounting, Economics, Introduction to Business, Law and practice of banking, Basic Statistics and Business Communication. Courses of MBA program are: Financial Accounting. Advanced Financial Accounting and Cost and Management Accounting. She has also supervised many more students at BBA and MBA level regarding their thesis and internship.
Besides teaching, she works as an active member of two committees in the department such as Question Moderation Committee and Exam Monitoring Committee.
