Shammi Akter
Assistant Professor
Department of Business Administration (Human Resource Management)

Shammi Akter joined Stamford University Bangladesh in 2006 as a Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration. She has been promoted as Assistant Professor in 2009. She was the Head of HRM and Management Discipline, Department of Business Administration. She has been an active member of Different committees such as Curriculum Committee, Question Moderation Committee, Exam Schedule Preparation and Monitoring Committee, Cultural Committee and Routine Committee.  

Shammi Akter has been teaching different undergraduate and graduate courses such as Introduction to Business, Business Communication, Principles of Management, Organizational Behavior, HR Planning and Policy, Human Resource Management etc. She has several published research papers. She participated in many national and international conferences and seminars. She has led “HR Avenue”, a mega event organized by HRM and Management Discipline. She is a member of Dhaka University Alumni Association.
