Sadia Afreen Chowdhury started her teaching career at Stamford University Bangladesh inOctober, 2006 as a Lecturer. She became Associate Professor in February, 2019.. She has a distinguished academic and professional background spanning over 14 years.
Ms. Sadia Afreen has been teaching Pharmacy courses like Advance Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry I & II, Organic Pharmacy I & II, Pharmacognosy I & II, Human Physiology II, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Pharmaceutics I, Medicinal Chemistry I & II Lab., Organic Pharmacy I & II Lab., Advance Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab., Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab., Pharmaceutics I Lab., Advance Biopharmaceutics Lab., Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology Lab. and Pharmaceutical Microbiology Lab.
She works as an administrative coordinator of the Department of Pharmacy. She also works as a member of many committees in the department such as Lab committee, Project/Thesis evaluation committee, Question Moderation committee, Journal and Publication committee etc.
Ms. Chowdhury has over 27 research articles published in different National and International peer reviewed journals.
She is an A-grade registered Pharmacist in Bangladesh Pharmacy Council (Registration no: A-2529).
Ms. Chowdhury also achieved Dean’s Award in recognition of outstanding achievement in her Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honor’s) degree and different scholarships like Education Board Scholarship, Bangladesh American Pharmacist Association (BAPA) Scholarship in her academic career.
