Shegoofta Tarannoom Durdana

OVERVIEW:

 

ShegooftaTarannoomDurdana has joined as Teaching Assistant in 5th February,2017. She promoted as lecturer in 3rd May, 2018. She has been teaching several courses such as: Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Public Finance, Law and Practice of Banking, Principles of insurance, Financial Accounting, Auditing, Business communication, Financial and Managerial Accounting to Engineering students in undergraduate level. During her Teaching Assistantship, she used to conduct classes and perform several departmental activities. She is skilled in Microsoft office and has strong presentation skill.

Besides teaching she works many committees in the department such as question moderation committee, routine committee, defense committee of internship and thesis, examination monitoring committee. Currently she is active in Orientation committee where she conducts freshman orientation and professional orientation for the undergrad students. She has hosted several programs and seminars in the department and organized quiz competitions for the bachelor students. Over there she has been as one of the judges in the judge panel.

She has partaken many workshops under Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC); A project of Higher Education Quality Enhancement Program (HEQEP), University Grants Commission (UGC), Bangladesh. She has successfully completed 6 days faculty member training program named “Certificate Course on Teaching & Learning Territory Level” in 2019. She has attended several unaudited courses in Coursera.

She has completed both her Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration from BRAC University majoring in Finance and Accounting and Finance in 2016 and 2012. She has completed her internship successfully in National Credit and Commerce Bank Limited. During her bachelors’ time she has working as Human Resource Director in BRAC University Rural Development Club.  She has been an active Rotarian and works several humanitarian projects under Rotary Club Eskaton, Rotary International.
