The 15th Asia Pharma Expo brought together the pharmaceutical professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders from across Asia and beyond. Hosted at the Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center (BBCFEC), Purbanchal Expressway, Dhaka, Bangladesh, this event was jointly organized by the Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceuticals Industries (BAPI), GPE Private Ltd., and Alliant (Local Partner).
With over 670 exhibiting companies, the Expo featured a meticulously planned itinerary comprising seminars, exhibitions, product launching, and networking opportunities. Distinguished guests, including Dr. Samanta Lal Sen, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Bangladesh, and Nazmul Hasan, MP, Minister of Youth and Sports, Bangladesh graced the inaugural ceremony with insightful speeches.
The exhibition was divided into three halls, showcased a diverse array of products from different companies, offering valuable insights to interested buyers, stakeholders, and pharmaceutical professionals.
The 15th Asia Pharma Expo, 2024 stood as a testament to the dynamism and resilience of the pharmaceutical industry in Asia. Serving as a focal point, the Expo facilitated networking and collaboration, while also providing newer pharmacists with invaluable insights into the pharmaceutical landscape.
On February 29, 2024, the Chairman, along with other faculty members and students from the Department of Pharmacy at Stamford University Bangladesh, participated in the Expo. During their visit, they attended the inaugural ceremony, where faculty members assisted students in understanding various types of equipment and their usage. Noteworthy among these were the soft gelatin capsule manufacturing machine, tablet manufacturing machine, product verifying machine, and labeling machine. Additionally, numerous pharmaceutical companies showcased both raw and finished medicine products at the expo.
