Stamford University Remembers Milestone Tragedy Victims with Special Prayer

On Tuesday, 22 July, at 2:00 PM, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Stamford University Bangladesh organized a special prayer at the university’s central auditorium to honour and remember those injured and killed in the recent plane crash involving Milestone School & College.

 

In line with the national observance, the university hoisted the national flag at half-mast, following the directive for all public, semi-public, and autonomous educational institutions across the country.

 

Present at the special prayer were Professor Dr. Md. Yunus Mia, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Stamford University Bangladesh; Mr. Mohammad Abdul Matin, Registrar; Professor Dr. Ahmad Kamruzzaman Majumder, Dean of the Faculty of Science; Associate Professor Dr. Mahmuda Parvin, Chair of the Department of Environmental Science; Md. Shahedul Islam, Acting Chair of the Department of CSE; and Prodeepto Mobarook, Head of the Public Relations Division. Faculty members, administrative officials, staff, and a large number of students were also in attendance.
