On 9 July 2026, the Vice-Chancellor of Stamford University Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Sharif Nafe As-Saber, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Pokhara University, Professor Dr. Devendra Adhikari, at his office in Pokhara, Nepal.
During the meeting, the two Vice-Chancellors held cordial and productive discussions on a range of issues of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on strengthening academic ties between the two universities. They explored opportunities for future collaboration in higher education, including joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchange programmes, collaborative academic activities, and other areas of institutional cooperation. Both leaders expressed their commitment to fostering a long-term partnership that would promote academic excellence, innovation, and international engagement.
The meeting was attended by the Registrar of Pokhara University, Professor Prof. Hari Bahadur Khadka, and the Dean of the Faculty of Science of Stamford University Bangladesh, Professor Dr. Kamruzzaman, who also participated in the discussions.
