The Department of Business Administration, Stamford University Bangladesh, successfully concluded its Faculty Development Workshop on “Measurement Scales in Research: Concepts, Development, and Validation,” bringing together faculty members and aspiring researchers for an enriching academic learning experience.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Nadia Farhana, Associate Professor and Coordinator, MBA Program, followed by the inaugural speech of Professor Dr. Mohammad Jeaul Hasan, Treasurer and Acting Dean, Department of Business Administration, Stamford University Bangladesh. Their inspiring remarks underscored the University’s unwavering commitment to strengthening research capacity and promoting academic excellence.

The workshop was conducted by the distinguished academic and resource person, Professor Dr. Mirza Mohammad Didarul Alam, Associate Professor, Department of Marketing,College of Economics and Political Science, Sultan Qaboos University. He delivered an insightful and practice-oriented session on the concepts, development, and validation of measurement scales in empirical research. Through engaging discussions and real-world applications, participants gained valuable knowledge to enhance the quality, reliability, and scientific rigor of their research endeavors.

The programme concluded with an interactive Question-and-Answer session, where participants enthusiastically exchanged ideas and sought expert guidance on contemporary research challenges. As a token of sincere appreciation for his outstanding contribution, a souvenir was presented to the respected resource person in recognition of his invaluable support to the University’s academic community.

The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Shammi Akhtar, Assistant Professor and Coordinator, BBA Program, Department of Business Administration , Stamford University Bangladesh.

A special note of gratitude is extended to Professor Dr. Mirza Mohammad Didarul Alam for graciously dedicating additional time beyond the formal programme to interact with participants on a one-to-one basis. His willingness to personally address individual research queries, provide constructive guidance, and mentor students and faculty members exemplified the true spirit of academic leadership and scholarly mentorship.
