The Department of Public Administration, Stamford University Bangladesh arranged a field visit, on 19 May 2026, to Gazipur as part of its practical teaching and learning methodology. Around 60 students of the department’s bachelor’s and master’s programs participated in this field visit along with 8 faculty members. The objective of this field visit was to apply learning outcomes in real-life situations and engage department’s students in various extracurricular activities and ultimately develop their leadership skills. Academically, this field visit strengthened student’s understandings of taught courses like Principles of Administration, Project Management, Human Resource Management, Local Government in Bangladesh, Rural Development. To make it more engaging and vibrant various sports and outdoor activities as well as raffle draw with gifts were arranged. The department believes such endeavors would contribute to Stamford’s goal of developing leadership and encourage experiential learning.
