A total of 40 students had the opportunity to gain firsthand experience of modern industrial operations and quality management systems. During the visit, they observed the production line, Quality Control (QC) laboratory, Research & Development (R&D) division, and Analytical Laboratory, where they learned about Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality assurance procedures, microbial and chemical analyses, product development, and regulatory compliance.
This hands-on exposure enabled students to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications, enhancing their technical understanding, professional skills, and career readiness in the fields of microbiology, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and the nutrition industry.
The industrial visit was successfully coordinated by Mr. Kamal Kanta Das, Assistant Professor and MBO Coordinator, Department of Microbiology, Stamford University Bangladesh, along with Mr. Shahariar Ahmed Kabbo, Research Assistant, Department of Microbiology, whose guidance and support made this educational experience meaningful and successful.
